Proudly NZ Made….Yes, We Have a Little Bit of that Kiwi Pride

Just this week, the “Buy New Zealand Made” campaign decided to feature us on their website unsolicited. We joined the campaign straight away last year as we were starting up FreshTake Publishers from scratch.

We decided from the start it was something important to both us and our customers that we could provide quality products made right here at home. From taking the photos to designing the calendars and cards to printing them…it’s all done in New Zealand.

The other bit of this story is that as a new business we are constantly spreading the word near and far of who we are and what we do…whether through word of mouth, social media or ads in NZ magazines (to name a few avenues) we are busy sharing our products and a little bit of our story. Any help we can get raising our profile is highly welcome! Thanks… Buy NZ Made Campaign.

Check out their webpage and support the Kiwi businesses that have taken up the challenge to be local. (I imagine we’ll be featured on the front page for about a week or so). Look for the symbol!  Check our New Zealand made calendar.

    Kia ora Mere

The East Coast is one of the places we have not got to yet. In the next couple of years we should get to it. Like my home area of the Far North (in particular Herekino) it is one of the places that has missed out in being covered in so-called NZ wide calendars, yet has some of the most amazing scenery and amazing people.

If there is a particular part of the East coast that you want to see on some cards or in some calendars do tell us. We really are open to suggestions.

We are still having to fit our photography around full time work at the moment so we don’t have as much time as we would like to travel around and take our photos.

    Kind regards
    David Hammond

    Hi Liang

Thank you for your message. When were we in the Nelson region, it rained. Which is extremely unusual for Nelson! This limited our ability to get panoramic pictures the greater Nelson region is renowned for. However, we did two close up scenes from the Riwaka resurgence near Motueka, and one farm scene from Motueka near Nelson.

The month of March in our NZ explorer calendar http://www.freshtakepublishers.com/collections/calendars/products/new-zealand-explorer, and the months of March and June in our Time and Space calendar http://www.freshtakepublishers.com/collections/calendars/products/space-and-time. Probably a little different to what you were expecting.

    Kind regards
